Parking Non-Resort Guest
We are staying at Riverside and are planning to meet up with some friends who are not staying at the resort. We were thinking of meeting up at the Resort and taking the boat over to Disney Springs together. Will they be permitted to park in the resort lot or will we have to meet up at Disney Springs? Thanks!
Re: Parking Non-Resort Guest
They will be absolutely fine parking at the resort. Security will want to check their ID, and it would be a good idea to mention that they are visiting a resort guest. But to be honest, lots of people just visit to check out the place, get something to eat, watch Ye Haa Bob's show in the evening, etc.
Once there, there are no further checks on ID if they want to join you using Disney transportation to Disney Springs, or even buses to the parks.

Great, thanks!
Re: Parking Non-Resort Guest
We visited in 2015.. We are a Riverside family (well I am, they follow), and we were priced into staying at Coronado springs (also beautiful by the way), and visited Riverside to purchase some resort merchandise as they'd brought it back.

Thanks! We changed our plans and are now staying at Riverside in a few weeks. Can't wait!
