Some website stats, more than 367,000 visits in 12 months!

Probably not of very much interest to anyone but me and a few web tech junkies but I was just looking at the site stats for the last 12 months and there sure are a lot of people interested in Port Orleans!



Those figures exclude any automated visits (such as Google and other search engine bots, etc) so that represents over 1.5 million separate page views by human beings in 367,000 visits over the last 12 months - wow! It's also fun to see when events like the opening of the Royal Guest Rooms nearly doubled the daily visitor count to the site for a few days.

But whatever way you look at it, that's a lot of people visiting this one tiny little non-commerical website!

Well, it just says much about how people have grown to really like the forum and though there aren't much options to go with and visit, not a lot of other questions are actually in place to get them going. They just have to go with the better sites and forums to get their daily fix and hopeful that would even grow to better numbers in the coming days.

I deliberately keep the forums here fairly focused on the subject in hand, rather than general WDW chat. There are so many sites out there (DIS, DIBB, etc, etc) which already do a great job that I think it's daft to duplicate their general WDW planning areas here. I just want this site to be the 'go to' place for Port Orleans information, which it does seem to be (even some of the resort staff use it for looking up information I gather).

I know I started coming to this site in January when we were trying to decide where to stay. Although the Royal Rooms were ideal for my daughter, this site is what put my husband and I over the top! I am a planner and I like having all this knowledge right at my fingertips. I also have to admit, checking in everday and reading the posts makes me feel like I am a part of the POR community, and with all the pictures and talk its almost like I've already been there and now I am going back. It certainly makes my countdown more bearable!

i know i found this sight looked at it but didnt really look at forum , then as it started to get closer to going i joined and started viewing the posts as it got even closer i started posting and now i just wanna be there
