Guests visiting Port Orleans Riverside mentioned that some sections of the resort — for example, some of the Magnolia Bend mansion buildings — were not being currently occupied due to generally low attendance figures. Resort staff remained tight-lipped on the subject and no further confirmation was received. Subsequent visitors seem to think that the resort quickly returned to normal operation.
