Hi all.
We are recently back from our first visit to America & WDW.
What can I say about PO-French Qtr............perfect, just perfect.
My wife, 2 boys and I stayed in room 2147 with our friends and their daughter in the adjoining room 2148.
A perfect setting close to all the amenities, pool & playground.
The food was amazing.
The pool and resort was immaculate.
The pool bar and Scat Cats where perfect ways to unwind.
Roasting marshmallows and the outdoor cinema was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
It was nice to see smiling faces and people going happily about their day.
Nothing was too much bother and nothing seemed like too much effort.
We cannot wait to go back.
:D :D :D :D

Yeah, great to hear!
How was the bus service to the parks, if you used it?

The bus service was great.
The only downside was some of the bus journeys have to pick up or drop of at Riverside before you get to your Park of choice and Riverside has 4 bus stops.
Other than that, they where all air conditioned, very clean and the drivers where very friendly.
Epcot & Hollywood Studios are the closest (About 6 minutes).
Our longest journey was to Animal Kingdom which took about half an hour.
Try and get the riverboat to downtown disney as the bus journey can be a bit of a pain as the buses home always seemed to be full.
By the end of the holiday we where driving to some of the parks. It's very quick and easy to drive but the car parks are quite far from the entrances.
If you don't mind a walk then it's not a problem. There are also shuttle trams laid on at some of the parks to get you from the car park to the entrance.
As an example, to get from the car park to the Magic Kingdom you need to get a shuttle tram to the monorail and then the monorail to the entrance.
If you get the bus, it drops you and collects you from the entrance.
The buses are a no stress way of getting around. They are easy to get from outside FQ and take no time to get you to where you want to be.

It was good to read this review - I am even more excited about our trip to POFQ in August 2014. Cannot wait - no doubt will have a lot of questions to ask nearer the time!
