Water Taxi Before Check In?

Unread post by MandaBeau »

Hi all, new to this site!! We haven't stayed at a Disney hotel in a looong time and we're used to Universal properties. We're moving over to PO from a few days at Universal - can we leave our bags with staff and hop on the water taxi since we'll get there well before afternoon check in? Not sure if the water taxi requires any sort of proof that you're actually staying at the hotel.
Thanks!

You can check in at the hotel as soon as you arrive - any time after 6am basically. You will get your magic bands, plus any other booked options such as park tickets and dining plan credits, there and then. Rooms are sometimes available that early too, especially if you are not too fussy about requests, but if not then you can leave all your luggage with Bell Services and you should get a text or email giving you the room number as soon as it is ready.

You can use any hotel facilities you like in the meantime, including the pools and the water taxi to Disney Springs. When you do get to your room, give Bell Services a call and they will bring your bags up to you (don't forget the storage ticket number that they gave you!).
