Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Content

Denise and Jeff from MouseSteps.com visited Port Orleans for Halloween and posted this great video of the cast members' annual pumpkin decorating contest. They really went to town with the beautifully detailed and fun designs this year, and pumpkins included Muppets, Scrooge McDuck, Star Wars BB-8, Genie, Inside Out and even a candy apple design - and I especially liked the multi-layered Alice in Wonderland/Cheshire Cat creation.

Very cool! I, too, especially liked the Cheshire Cat... Some very creative work there, even by Disney standards.

Never been there at Halloween. Do the CMs get to dress up also, or do they have to stay in their resort "character?"

Cast members stay in their resort attire. The place looked great last night, decorations out at Muddy Rivers and fun events near the marina. Trick or Treat locations, marked by balloons, throughout the resort. The cast did an amazing job!

Marker-decorated pumpkins have so much potential to be a wonderful complement in any setting. The time is now to begin creating a cutting-edge pumpkin design other than the traditional jack-o-lantern for Halloween.
