Port Orleans Riverside - Mail deliveries prior to arrival

Hi,

New to the forums, but they, along with the rest of this website, have been of great help planning for our trip to POR next month!

A quick question; I am looking at buying some tickets to an American Football game, and these will need to be shipped to an American address. I have seen the postal address and advice in the POR quick reference section, but was wondering if anyone has tried this recently and did it work!? I spoke to a nice lady called Holly on the phone who reccommended not sending anything until a week before arrival. does this seem like sound advice or will it be ok to send things earlier than this?

I'd go along with trying to have the item arrive at the resort fairly close to your arrival date - but do make sure you allow enough time for it to arrive before the game, of course! If it arrives too much earlier than your checkin date there is always the danger of the package going astray in the meantime. Give the resort a call and ask for their advice if you're worried. Do make sure that the label includes your full name (with the lead name for your party if not the same) and your resort checkin date.
