Any ETA for POR room refurbishment?

[Disney Danny]

We are in the planning stages for our 2011 trip. Last tme we visited we stayed at POR and loved it. Our one & only complaint was that the rooms needed soom TLC. Is there any news on when Disney plan to refurbish the POR rooms?

Disney don't tend to announce that sort of thing in advance. Last time all of the POR rooms had major work done (2004) it was done on a building-by-building basis and so did not involve any resort-wide closures. Minor guest-room work has been done since (e.g. air con units and some lighting updated) and I assume any major issues with specific rooms should be addressed as they occur. I don't think there is any sort of resort-wide problem though, our room in August was lovely for example.
