Mardi Gras festivities @ POR/FQ?
Does anyone know if there will be a celebration for Mardi Gras since the resort is themed after New Orleans?

Usually the cast members do some fun things (such as organising a great little parade - see here), but there's not an 'official' company event as such.

At Riverside on 16th Feb this year (Fat Tuesday) they were doing some fun and games and hula-hooping for the kids by the main pool, with fun masks, beads and little jester-clad yellow ducks being given away. My daughter was ill that day and spent it in the room so the CMs told me I could take some goodies back for her...but I had to do the hula hooping first!
