The January 2015 Recreation Activities and Movie Schedules for Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter are now available. See the main Recreation Activities Schedules page for full-size printable PDF versions.

The evening campfires will commence at 5pm this month and the Movies Under the Stars will be screened at 7pm. These events will this month take place on alternate days at the two resorts - Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at Riverside, and Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at French Quarter.

The Christmas / New Year 2014 Recreation Activities and Movie Schedules for Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter are now available. See the main Recreation Activities Schedules page for full-size printable PDF versions.

The evening campfires commence at 5pm over the holiday period this year and the Movies Under the Stars will be screened at 7pm. These will both take place four days a week, with the other three days featuring indoor activities at 5pm instead.

There are lots of other free festive activities for all the family planned too, including live performers, character greetings (with Santa himself making an appearance at Riverside) on Christmas Eve, cookie decorating, a cast member gingerbread house competition, and a New Year's Eve Party at Riverside.

Today food is available at Muddy Rivers [the pool bar on Ol' Man Island]. They are now offering a selection of sandwiches, including: Tuna Salad Croissant ($10.49); Cajun Turkey Club ($10.49); Muffeletta ($10.49); Ham & Cheese Croissant ($9.99); Kid's Meal Turkey Sandwich ($6.99); and Kids Meal Uncrusted PB&J ($6.49). A cocktail server is also walking the pool deck. I'm told this will be in place for a trial period [ending 10 January 2015, coinciding with the end of Marathon weekend].

[Update from Admin 7 June 2015] Just had an email from one of my contacts at the resort, and the Muddy Rivers poolside food and cocktail service has been continued, and there are plans to expand it in the future.
